Jono Bolton
Does anyone know where I can can get good quality replacement screws for a set of machine heads? I've got Hipshot HB-2s and the metal for the screws is so soft that the cross head has basically stripped away. I know I've seen people on here who've swapped the stock screws for some better replacements, can anyone point me in the right direction? Al Heeley
I'd try Axes R Us - huge stock, great guys to deal with and very cost-effective http://axesrus.com/
Ou7shined
I only ever use genuine Fender parts for this kind of thing. They aren't as cheap as the alternatives but they are high quality and tough - they also have a nicer deeper chrome colour than the cheaper "bright" chrome ones. Trust me, you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to screws. You can pick them up from ebay.
