The Eq is Awesome
Forget the SWR Marcus Pre amp
This is all you need,
plus it sounds like any other jazz bass.

The B string feels good and is Tight, Really impressive for a 34" scale B.

It really is a Great bass,
but i Love my Fodera !!

the Bass Gallery has this bass listed above £2000

I tried a 4 and loved it absolutely. As I only play 5's I didn't consider it. Too bad I don't have the money for this, I'm sure it's a sweeeeeet bass.

I've got mine right now and could tell the B string is the best you can find on a fender.
(though I didn't play a roscoe beck)

The preamp is fine too, with boost only functions and it boost !
