If you haven't already got one, would you consider a trade for your Markbass? Andy
Prime_BASS
Cleaner? The OTB has quiet a lot of clean headroom. To get really clean I've got my gain at 9 o clock

fatback
+1 The MB might have the warmth but no grit, and the GB IMO is very bright and almost hifi. The tube grind from the pre in the Shuttle isnt that gritty at all. Bass Terror is your friend. Loud/light/warm/gritty when you want it/not expensive considering what it does!
Shuttle vid here shows a fair bit of grit. ll relative, of course http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJYX2Fkpuzg

algmusic
Right, I have the Terror and it sounds great, thanks to andyonbass. I have to wait a whole 10days to give it a good run in :-( , but you gotta go on hols sometime ;-) Just ordered a 40db inline attenuator as the DI is HOT as HELL. It's coming tomorrow

I had to go Sansamp to PA and through OTB set flat with the gain right down for stage. Sounded great though.

It's also a good back amp :-) if you have good PA, the FOH never know. The sansamp sounded better than a SWR 6x10 rig at FOH.. that was a funny festival when I worked that out
