I have a Shine 6-string fretless bass and for the life of me I cannot get strings for it, Extra long scale don't fit and I'm not sure what to do. I can't even find the bass online any more(it is a few years old granted). Any advice? Do extra extra long scale strings even exist? Please Help Quote

Please Help[/quote] Could you grab a tape measure and let us know exactly how long scale your bass is? Most are 35", some 36", a few are even longer... DRs are pretty long, also pretty expensive but they do last longer than most strings. Status Hotwires are available long scale and in halfwound if you're worried about your fingerboard [url="http://www.status-graphite.com"]http://www.status-graphite.com[/url] They all fit my 35" fretless 6 string and I'm sure people here will suggest plenty of others... Tickle Posted August 22, 2010 Author Posted August 22, 2010 Hey guys, just got my bass back from a music shop who couldn't get hold of any strings for it. Having just measured it I think its a 36" scale so I'll check out overwater I think. Quote
