This was truly a gig i will never forget. I was lucky enough to be sitting 5 rows from the front where i could clearly see the superhuman goings on- especially Edgar's... I found the night totally inspiring from start to finish, were any other basschatters there that would like to share their feelings?

The spontaneity and the sheer talent provided what i think was probably my favourite gig i have attended so far. For me the cherry on the cake was Edgar's rendition of a Bach cello solo, and I'm sure i'm not alone in thinking we'll be seeing much more of Julian Lage's wonderful playing in the years to come. He's going places.

I'm glad it was good, I almost went but had a crazy coupe of weeks and was at Stanley Clarke's gug at Ronnie Scotts on Thursday which was superb, it's one thing to get free tickets to gigs, it's another having endless amounts of energy to go to them. I've seen Bela live about 7 times now and he never fails to blow me away, same for Zakir, and yes I agree on Julian Lage - he's very talented and a serious guitar star in the making...

Yeah I really wanted to see Stanley, especially as he was accompanied by the amazing Hiromi. I was quite upset I missed that one, unfortunately the only tickets left by the time I had the money were the ones for the show that ended at 1am and I'm not local... maybe next time! Also missed out on Metheny Group... because it was £65 for a good ticket, crikey.

And to thisnameistaken, yes that was their only date - it wasn't even sold out though! (although I think it nearly was)
