Bloody Hell..... When did Fender change their headstock shape?

Jazz style maple bolt on neck? Looks more like rosewood to me.

I don't think the person is trying to pass off a real Fender as they refer to a Fender style headstock and labeled with Fender decal. Although they look an arse as they obviously don't know what a real Fender headstock is, or the correct wood for the neck is

Neck is made of maple, so can be described validly as a maple neck. Rosewood is the fretboard, as he specifies.

body looks out of proportion, so you couldn't even salvage that for a 'project' bass...at least he's not trying to sell it as a fender.

There's no way anybody could be fooled into thinking that was a Fender - the neck pocket is too good.

That's one of the SX Jazzes from the starter packs packs that were sold in the UK for about £120.
22 frets is the giveaway. Generic Chinese Jazz bass but that shaped headstock was the SX version. (And close to the Sadowsky Fenderish headstock)

Not the same as the SX basses from Rondo Music. Rather inferior in my experience. Probably worth a touch more than he paid for the setup:)
