is any bass really worth this amount??

Well that example certainly isn't. A Rick of that year should have a 'horseshoe' bridge pickup and the knobs would be the same as on a Fender Jazz. Still would be over-priced though.

The guy seems quite relaxed about selling it - he's already 'reclined' a few offers.
