Squier CVJ vs Farida FJB 20

Going to buy one of these this week and price isnt an issue, when delivery charges etc set in they both come to around £300 ish.

Which is the better bass, I've heard great reviews from both but not sure what one will be better.

Please help me

Also where could I buy a sadowsky di-box from?

You can only buy the Sadowsky outboard preamp/DI pedal direct from Sadowsky as far as I know. That's where I got mine from, anyway.

As for the two basses, I haven't heard the Farida, but Andy Travis on here has had a few in stock and really seems to rate them. The Squier Classic Vibe Jazz is also a seriously good Jazz bass, in fact much better sound/playability/construction quality than the current Standard series MIM Fender. There, I said it

Funny enough i expect to be selling both my CV Jazz and Sadowsky DI soon if all goes to plan.

Not for a couple of weeks though.

On Paper the FJB wins...

They're made in the same place. Although the closest to the CV is the FJB-6, same body material, and rosewood board.

But it's totally up to you...My FJB-18 Fretless has just been finished and is leaving the factory soon.

The FJB-20 in Natural i have in stock at the moment is too good for the money.

Faridas are SERIOUSLY under rated. We have a hollowbodied tele in at the moment and it's a stunning guitar. Had it ages though, no one wants to buy it because it's got the wrong F brand on the headstock.
