Now that I've finally bought my own house, I have a room purely for my music gear. I put a desk up last night, I've got a MacBook Pro with Garageband and I've got some old SkyTec 30w speakers, nothing special, but do the job. However, I've got nothing to power them. I only want something I can plug a phono lead into, and attach the speaker cable to, has a volume control, and I don't want it taking up much room on the desk. But all I can find online are hi-fi seperates, which are huge and expensive.

Anyone know of anything suitable? I don't want to spend much!

Looks like you'll need a wall wart as well, but that's cheap enough.
