Just wanted to say a collective thanks to everyone on here

After reading a few threads and digesting some pretty cool stories, info and lovely pics of gear, i felt the urge to get my Shuker out the case and have a play...

That was two hours ago... one of those practice sessions and you look up at the clock and time has just disappeared and you're arn't even done yet!

I spent two hours soldiering on with my double bass and a bunch of Mingus / Duke / Monk charts tonight thanks to the encouragement and help of many at BC (and Bilbo in particular), and sometimes - somehow - it even sounded nice! So a fat +1 from me.
