They don’t sound like flats and the when the light catches the strings they shine quite brightly which makes me think they are nickel. dr1 Posted July 22, 2010 Share Posted July 22, 2010 (edited) didnt see the whole video - but from what i did hear, it's hard to tell. not so good audio and he played in the band mix. that can be [b]anything[/b] with all kind of set up ( tone pot,amp. eq,preamp,production, etc....) he should play solo in high resolution to be 90% secure what strings he uses. it's much easier to determine what strings in cases like marcus miller or james jamerson.
