Why is the "What do YOU play" topic in Bass Guitars closed?

It's a really OLD thread - I've un-sticky-ed it (WOW awesome grammar Dan) - Think most of us have changed our gear in the last 6 months, so probably rather out of date! - Yes, that's G.A.S for you!

I was just curious as to why it was closed,binning it & starting a new one is a better idea.
I take it I'm the only one here with the same old bass (not lack of wanting tho ).

Yeah, I'd wondered that as well but had assumed it was because the Basses Owned thread was very similar in its theme and they were both getting quite long.
