goaround Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Our drummer has been forced to move to a smaller house and has asked me to try and sell his Dynamix Powermix 12.2 powered mixer, but I have no idea on what he should ask for it. It is very solid, all steel construction and has a wooden flightcase, all the controls and connections (including power supply) are on the front panel. It is 1200W ( 2 x 600W), has 12 channels and 2 on board digital effects processors with 32 presets in total. I have tested what I can and all seems to be OK and what I cant (or dont understand!) the LEDs are coming on when the feature is selected. Its drawback compared with more modern options is its size, w58 d58 h20 (cm) and weight, I'm guessing 70-80lb and those are without the case. If anyone can give me any advice on what this might be worth that would be great. Quote
orangepeelneil Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Hi there, I may be interested in this if you do come with a price? I need a powered mixer for some pub gigs we've got planned. Give me a shout when you decide on a price and I'll see if it's in my budget. Cheers Neil Quote
goaround Posted August 1, 2010 Author Posted August 1, 2010 Sorry to everyone else but this post is a follow up to the previous by Neil. Yamaha EMX 512SC powered mixer. The case; I assume it was used for hair products as I pulled it out of a skip outside a hairdresser that was being refurbished and it smells like a tarts knicker drawer. I had been using as a larder when camping and luckily made the discovery that it was the perfect size for the mixer. I'll be in touch when I know more. Quote
