So I've just joined a traditional ska band, yet i never really played much ska before.

Hit me with your top tips!

It's quite a change for me, having almost exclusively played in three-piece bands up till now. I understand that the main risk is really to overplay, considering that the band has a horn section, keys and a singer.
I already listen to some classic ska and similar, especially Trojan and Studio One stuff, but i can't always hear what the bass is actually doing all the time.
