yorks5stringer
My next Bass build will be an EUB, and will be a "less is more" headless take on the Bassix Stick Bass. As there will be very little body for resonation of sound, what would be the best form of pickups? I'm assuming a microphonic type like a Shertler would be wasted and I should go down the route of piezos? I have a spare Stagg preamp module from their EUB so am half way there... Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks!
