I didn't notice the breakage until after the move and so couldn't make a claim. As the head could be removed I contacted the distributors (Strings & Things) and asked if they could supply me with a head as the rest of the stand was perfectly ok. The nice people at Strings & Things sent me a brand new head free gratis. Too often we hear bad tales of musos getting ripped off so I thought that I would post this up as example of a company who still care about their customers.
