Cygnus x-1
I bought this plate for a project and as often happens it didn't fit, so I had a look to see what it did fit in order to sell it on. What I found was it was very close to fitting the Squier vintage modified fretless, so a little touch round the neck pocket and it fit perfectly. I am not sure if it would also fit the VMJazz fretted but I would say it's possible as these seem to be the same pickup position as the fretless. So if you fancy modifying your Squier fretless to make it less Jaco like then this is for you. As you can see it has been placed on the bass and not screwed down. Will sell for a tenner inc post, thanks. Edited July 31, 2010 by Cygnus x-

Joe
not sure? think the VMJ was bassed on 70's design, but it would really be pot luck. IF you wanted to take a chance & it didn't fit, at least you know what it does fit to sell it on, sorry I can't give you a more precise answer. cheers, Nick
