Yamaha BBT500H any opinions?

I am toying with buying a Yamaha BBT500H amp head as a backup, and I have it on approval currently. They are asking £200 for it which seems reasonable.

I would be using it with my two MB Traveller 1 x 15" cabs (8ohm) so will only get to use 250w out of the amp.

I had a quick play with it last night and was pretty impressed with it.

Any of you guys have any experience with this head?

Nice amps but you you have to go down to 2 ohms to get full power out of it.

I know, and I am wondering if 250w would cut it. I normally use a MB LMK head.

That's my main concern.

I used to have one of these. Great sound but the 500w output is a bit of a con, as very few people run cabs down to 2 ohms.

£200 is a good price, I reckon.
