Flanker
This really is a quality bass and I've owned many high end basses from Celinders to Sadowsky, the Atelier is right up there IMO. I won't deny it is heavy (around 12 lbs) - The good news is it sounds heavy! Amazing tones from Marcus to Reggae. It is fitted with an Aguilar OBP3 pre. Fantastic playability as you might expect. Slap heaven! It's in good condition with one or two small points worth noting,1 ) there is a small strip of delamination along the neck between the fingerboard and the neck at the bottom about two inches long. It doesn't affect anything but good to know about it in advance 2) The inlay in the fret next to the nut appears to be a bit loose and needs to be glued down, the bass plays fine as it is but it would be nice to sort it even if it's a small detail really. These issues are about to be taken care of by BassDirect. Here's a couple of pics , I'll get more up soon. Trade for 1970' Fender P bass The bass is for sale at Bass Direct.
