solofunkyjazz
I took this in a trade earlier in the year, but there's a rather nice SR5 for sale that I fancy. It's a really beautiful looking bass, and is in nice condition. It does have a couple of small marks on the body (nothing really visible), and a couple of marks on the back of the neck. I did ask John Diggins if it'd be possible to have the neck sanded and refinished to get rid of these, he said it'd be a really easy job and not cost a lot to do. I never really noticed these when playing, I've only mentioned them because they're there. I think it's about 10 years old. It's finished in a translucent red with a pearl white pickguard, it has a maple fingerboard. It has a superb low action, and sounds great it has a very modern sound that really cuts through in a live situation. It has Fender low noise pickups, and a very versatile Fender preamp. Currently strung with DR Lo-rider nickel strings. It comes with a Fender hardcase. My apologies for the very poor photographs, they were taken by the previous owner on his phone. I'm away until the weekend, but I'll post some better ones then, if the bass is still around. Interested parties are welcome to call around and see the bass in person though. I'd like a very reasonable £600 plus shipping, or you can collect it from Birmingham. Edited August 9, 2010 by solofunkyjazz

silverfoxnik
Despite the photos, that's a nice looking bass at a good price too! I had one similar to this but with a rosewood neck and it was a cracking bass... Good luck with the sale!
OliverBlackman
This used to be mine and iv never seen a bass that looks so beautiful. The pics really dont do the finish any justice at all its truly amazing. I bought it second hand and the guy before it had it since new. It was made in the year 2000. If i had needed it i would never have sold it and if i had the money to spare i would be buying it back. If anyone buys it they will love it
