Sarah5string Posted August 4, 2010 Author Posted August 4, 2010
You had me beat at Grade one
I only started doing them because I wanted to learn the theory and further my playing, plus doing the exams is motivation to practice and recognition for your hard work. Apparently you get UCAS points for grade 6-8 too! Well worth it Going to be doing my grade 6 this time next year, or that's the plan anyway! Quote
Jarhead Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 That's better then I did when I took my grade 4, I think I got about 85 percent. I failed grade 6 mainly because what I know about music theory could go on the back of a matchbook. Zach Quote
Sarah5string Posted August 4, 2010 Author Posted August 4, 2010 You wouldn't think I'd only started learning theory 7 months ago Quote
xilddx Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 That's fantastic! You must seriously feel ace! Quote

Mind the goat. And your sanity. Quote
Noisyjon Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Hi Sarah, Nice one on the result there. Can I ask how went about learning theory please? I'm interested but don't know where to start! Cheers, Jon Quote
Fat Rich Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Many congratulations! Can't help thinking you're now a bit over qualified for this forum! Quote
