Higgie
I just took delivery of my new DB750 that I bought second hand, and no matter what I did I couldn't get the Clip light to come on. Active bass (Lakland DJ5) into the amp with the Gain, Bass, Mid and Treble knobs dimed, with the master EQ all the way down, and it didn't clip once even with the most aggressive technique. Now it sounds fantastic with everything from the Active Lakland to my Passive P with flats, but I just couldn't get it to clip. I just wasn't sure if this was natural behaviour or not! Can anyone shed some light on the matter? Cheers
lozbass
This probably isn't particularly helpful, but I haven't seen mine clip. That said, I haven't ever tried.
