As it isI have my H&K/tech soundsystems rig, a wee vox practice amp and this head. The vox and this head and my fretless jap aria will be going.... It's a Laney Pro-bass head. 11 band Eq, 3 effects loop. 150w into 4 ohms, 100w into 8ohms. From early eighties/late seventies? I got it from a friend who has loads of gear, most of it high end, but he had hung on to this as it sounds so good. And it does! It's hard to describe the sound, prob a classic rock tone? It's flexable enough to dial in anything you want. Controls, left to right.... Gain, pre-shape, parametric eQ with off high Q and low Q, gain and freq, 11 band graphic Eq, graphic on/off, limiter, pre/post eq gain. Conections on the front: Input, DI, effects send and return pre EQ, effects send and return post Eq. (oh the DI links are jack sockets not XLR) On the back: another 'effects loop' DI/line out and return -6Db, two speaker jack sockets and one headphone socket. heres the manual [url="http://www.laney.co.uk/manuals/PB150%20Manual%20-%201991%20-%20Issue%201.pdf"]from Laney's website[/url] Made in england, serial number 2215. Last time I used it it worked perfectly. Solid and reliable. I had replaced the graphic switch years back. (as I have opened it up in the past and it is old and electrical I would like to sell it as 'in need of a service', not that i would service it if i hung onto it but you know what i mean... ) So how much do I want for it? Lets say £50 (with postage ontop if you want it posted) A lot of amp for the money. I can get it on the train within the central belt if you want. I'll also happy consider any trade offers.
