If it had been a pre-CBS box from a '59 Jazz, when they switched to ebony necks, I would have been all over this. Anyway, have a bump!

It is indicated as a "project", so what's the problem? The box is from a brand new Fender MIM guitar but I know how ironic it is. It is just to give you an approximate idea of packing measurements. Beedster
Given the price of the parts you list above, and a very generous estimate for value of the body (say £500), you're asking over £500 for the neck. As at that price it's clearly an extremely rare vintage part, could you provide more details to help potential buyers make up their minds? Cheers Chris
Dogame
Honestly, I've been told by PM that the price is high, especially as I have no other info on the neck. So I'm selling the parts separately. The neck will be £100. The body is worth around £650-700 (check Ebay: original non-refinished bodies with the original stamps are slighty above that price without shipping and custom taxes and they're hard to find, especially the ones from 1975 downwards). The "cracked poly" is harder to appreciate in natural bodies, apart from the grain which is very figured in this model, and it doesn't have as much poly as in later models that I've seen. The finish is original as it was offered by Fender from 1972 onwards. http://www.vintageguitars.org.uk/fender72p21.php The other parts are valued a 10% less than Thomann's value, as I bought them there new less than a month ago and with original packaging. All parts value = £170. Total price buying everything is £900. Shipping rate is negotiable. Thank you

antti
I am 99,9% sure the neck is from Sunsmile P-bass. My friend got one with exactly the same finish and shape. Actually I am 100% sure for that. It is from this model: http://www.ssmii.com/ArticleShow.asp?ArticleID=1095 First I saw this pic's I got a "flashback" that I have recently played with this same neck. Nowdays they use little edgier shape of head with 34" basses but just year or two ago they used this same shape with all P-basses necks. I can send some pics of that Sunsmile, if needed.
