mcpathetic
Hi guys A bit of advice. Friend (well, friend of friend of... blahblah...) has Laney DP300 Head with 4x10" cab for sale - considering taking it off his hands. He wants £250. Not sure if this is a bit steep? Had a play at their soundcheck and sounded solid and weighty (nice range). What do you think - would you pay £250? Advice gratefully received! Musky
IMHO that's a little on the steep side. I've got a DP300 - I bought it new many years ago, but I've seen the heads go for less than £100 on ebay in the past and the matching cabs don't seem particularly sought after either. I know selling items as 'collection only' on ebay can be a bit of lottery, but someone on here bought a Laney G300 (the follow up to the DP300) and a Hartke 4x10 last year for £150 BIN. I suspect if he'd just stuck a bid in he would have got it for a lot less.
mcpathetic
Thanks, Musky - useful info. Will see if the price can be lowered at all. Cheers
