kevbass
What kind of sound quality do u get from these? Something similar to a squire?
neilb
Kev the pups are quite pokey, louder than my aerodyne. Ive never used a squire so cant comment. It has the Jazzy growl if the EQ is set right. I think its a great sounding bass.
Paul Cooke
tasty... if I didn't already have the Squier VMJ, I'd take that off your hands in a flash...
OldGit
Just sold my SX Jazz to my bass tutor. I have an SX P bass in the post to replace it. They are great value for money, specially with the mods, and way cooler than any Squier Have a look through Talkbass for opinions.

I am sure I could borrow it if you want to have a go on one. I'm a big fan of the SX basses and what you get for the money. My tutor has my old (new) SX "75" Jazz .. You could try it at the Tuesday night jam sessions at the 147 club on City rd. He's the house bassist... and I've got an SX P bass in the post from the US .. I like them a lot.
