Hi,

Here is my 2004 MusicMan Sterling USA in an exquisite Firemist Orange.

Recently set up and serviced with D'addaio XL Nickel Wounds 45-105. Low action and nice and bright, a real gem to play.

I have tried my best to take good care of her, she has been fitted with Dunlop Strap locks and the buyer will get everything you can see in the case along with the hard case to put it all in.

Obvious wear from playing has been photographed to best of my ability, no major damage. There is a crack in the hard case but the gaffa is holding well.

I'd like to get [s]£1000[/s] [s]£900[/s] [s]£850[/s] [s]£800[/s] [s]£700[/s] £600!!. Buyer must collect from either Thatcham, Berks or Bristol or surrounding area within reasonable train distance (Reading, Bath etc).

Any other questions feel free to email or PM.

Heres the pics:

My blue Sterling is the one bass I could NEVER let go. Yours is equally beautiful, but without meaning to be rude, I have to agree with Warwickhunt that you might want to reconsider your asking price.

Fantastic bass. But just to echo some of the others the asking price may be a tad high. The going rate at the mo for a Sterling is between £600-£700.

Good luck with the sale though, looks like a cracker.

Hey, nice bass! I might be interested in a staight swap for my US Deluxe Jazz (just like the one in my Avatar). Pm if interested and i will send you some actual pics.

I'm with you on that mate, it's the colour I'm looking for too.

Gigged last night with mine and goddamn I love it so much! I've owned mine since 2000 and although I've flirted with other basses, I've always come back to this one. Have a Sterling adoring bump from me too.

The search facility is your friend. :)

The Sterling is definitely smaller - body and neck.

I'm not sure on the electronics side of things.

I tried a Ray and didnt think it was much different in terms of sound, definitely not better IMO.
