1976fenderhead
Meaning, something that could replicate the bass micro synth fairly well? And how's the tracking?

And how's the tracking?[/quote] I have one. The answer is no. To my ears the filters/synths are the weakest part of the pedal for bass. thisnameistaken
The BMS does its stuff by stacking octaves and having a proper mint filter at the end of it, so no, you won't get a BMS sound out of it. But: It can do some useful synth sounds, the square wave from the attack synth is a decent starting point, use the harmoniser to double it and/or a chorus/overdrive combo to thicken it and you can get some interesting sounds. It leans more towards synth pad sounds that proper gnarly bass sounds though. That's why I kept my Octavius Squeezer.
1976fenderhead
So is there any good square wave synth kind of thing, without filter? I'm talking Exit Music for a Film or Deeper Underground, that's the only kind of synth sound I'm interested in... I never use the filter section of the BMS anyway or if I do just very quick and short down. Edited August 15, 2010 by 1976fenderhead
tayste_2000
The trick is to do it the same way you would with single pedals, octaver 100% wet, fuzz, filter Sounds very analogy to me
Finbar
I didn't really find much in it using separate effects to be honest either. But I've never been a fan of fuzzy synthy bass really so I guess I never experimented that much.
