Danelectro 6 string bass

its the same sorta setup as the fender bass vi, guitar tuning, but an octive lower.

i think it's B-B, but can be strung as the VI iirc

It seems that Danelectro introduced the first six string bass, tuned E A G D B E, like a guitar but an octave down, in the 50s. And then Fender copied Danelectro

i do remember that fender brought out the VI to try to steal some of the dano thunder.
