Can anyone point me in the direction of a good tab or instructional video for this song? It might be coming on to the band's radar fairly soon and my ageing learning ears are not as good as they used to be!

I have a transcription for it somewhere. Will try and remember to scan it. It's played on a fretless stingray btw, but sounds pretty good on a fretted with healthy dose of mid-range growl.

There isn't anything difficult in there but trying to remember all the variations is a bit of challenge.

Yeah I can see a few senior moments coming on there, it's a cracking bass line but as you say the variations are the problem. Seems that after the first verse there's a different phrase between the F sharp each time. Will give a good going over, not rehearsing it yet as we have a few others to do first but hopefully this will be a goer!

Also it was in a magazine many years ago (1st two verses & chorus only) in F#, i think i've a copy of that kicking around somewhere too,

You could cheat and do the album version with the other bass player? but everyone would probably just think you couldnt do the Flea thing and for what its worth the other version was pretty good until he aced it over the top!
