MudMar Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 (edited) Sold to FlyingZebra in person, thoroughly nice bloke, can't recommend him enough I've got a Warwick thumb 4 string bass that I bought new in 2008 (serial number seems to confirm) and I've barely had a chance to use. As such, it's in nearly new condition, with padded bag and the waxing kit. I've currently got it strung with D'addario flatwounds which are lush! Looking around, it seems these are £1400 new, so I'll ask for [s]£1000ono[/s] £900ono. If my pricing is off then let me know...refer me to where you can get a better deal and I'll adjust to what's reasonable. A face to face deal is vastly preferable since the gigbag is padded (not a hard case) and of course, since this is my first post I'm not to be trusted (and of course I don't know anyone here) Photos: 1, 2. I'm located in Bristol and willing to drive ~1hr to meet. Edited August 24, 2010 by MudMar
josh3184 Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010
No takers?
Don't worry man, it's just because second hand Warwick prices are quite low at the moment. For what it's worth, I think a bass that's this new in this condition may very well reach around the price you're asking, but older and more used Thumbs generally go for a bit less. I'll send you a PM with some other examples of Thumbs that have sold
MudMar Posted August 16, 2010 Author Posted August 16, 2010 Thanks Josh, I'm amazed how many sales are going on on this forum, and at what prices...wish I'd found this forum years back! Any serious interest make me an offer, worst I'll say is no
