Got a chance to meet him at a Cardiff Bass Bash and he was exactly the same in person - Loved his Shuker 5 String P.

I spent one day with Si, he picked me up on the way to a bassbash. Changed my life. We spoke on the way home about what direction my life was going in. At that time I was early mid 20's and undermotivated. He inspired me to make goals and achieve them, keep my head up and keep going. It was nice to honestly talk to someone who I didn't know a great deal and Si spoke straight and honestly.

What a dude he was. RIP OldGit.

"He inspired me...". Those words seem to be a recurring theme here. The big guy touched so many peoples' lives in such a good way. I hope that somewhere, somehow, he knows that.
