It's the tort for me. I think black would look good on it too. It's too pale for a white pickguard imo.

Thanks people! The Honey blonde looks paler for some reason than it does in the flesh, but i agree, after ogling the Fender website for a while (actually weeks) i decided to change its appearance a bit.
I think with a maple fret a black pickguard would look good.

Mind you, I do like tort and/or pearl pickguards anyway.

Me too... applying the tort pick guard is part of my therapy .

White all the way. Tort looks the dogs on the right colour, to me personally, that's not the right colour for a tort guard.

I'd be looking for a cream pearl guard for that.

I'm another fan of the white, a subtle mint is my favorite on a colored J or P. I know tort is very popular but I can only tolerate it on a sunburst. Like black shoes, a white PG goes with everything
