Where to get my new DB set up in Birmingham ?

I just got my new DB today, and very nice it is too.

It needs setting up though, and I want a pickup fitting to it. I live just outside Birmingham, any suggestions as to where to take it please ?

Tom Martin in Banbury is about an hour outside Brum, he is a luthier with his son George who specialise in making basses. I daresay that he would be able to do the set up for you. I have one of his basses and his workshop is excellent!

Mosley violins in mosley, yes really, are excellent. Rebuild my db from a pile of broken wood and some strings, highly recommend them.

You could try Hibernian violins in Malvern Link, Paddy always does a good job.
