Insurance advice needed

We need to sort out some public liability insurance for the band as a whole as we want to promote one or two gigs ourselves. Anyone have any advice on suppliers please?

Also what would be an appropriate amount of cover (we're talking village halls here, not stadiums - sadly!)?

Thanks ff but IIRC the MU only provides individual cover, so for a 6-piece band this would be a pretty expensive option! Lots of other good reasons to do so I'm sure but for now I'm just looking for PL insurance.

You can get one off event deals for around £30. Just google it. I have £1m PL insurance through my gear being insured
