This is an outstanding preamp, and a quick search on the forums ('talkbass' etc) will turn up all the positive comments etc. This is the best preamp ive used for getting the best from piezo pickups and also allows using a mic (has phantom power too) and can blend both if desired. The Schertler powered speaker is great also, i used it with great results but have ended up with an acoustic image and need to claw some money back.
