Pickguard for 70´s Precision

Hi guys,
I am considering swapping out the pickguard on one of my 1978 Fender Precision´s
I want to get a 3ply black one (pref with holes for pup cover and thumb rest)

I am wondering would a current replacement Fender PG fit? -have the dimensions/measurements changed since the late 70´s?
Or would I need to look at trying to track down an original 70´s pg?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I know when i got another pickguard for my precision i had trouble finding one, as mine only has ten holes in (50's Vintage remake thing) compared to the 13 I think are on precisions now?

I ended up just making a stencil on a piece of newspaper and sending that to some custom company, think it only cost me 20-30 quid!!

cant remember where i got it from for the life of me though
