vmaxblues
Peavey B Quad 4 Brian Bromberg Signature bass guitar What we have here is a really great condition Peavey B-Quad 4 Brian Bromberg Signature bass, just like the one recently posted from Switzerland, which is interesting because these things are uber rare. I have therefore cheekily (apologies to OP) pinched his details as they are identical for this bass. This is an extremely rare, sought after and versatile bass guitar, suitable for all playing styles. I am looking for £700 collected or plus £25 p+p, This bass is supplied with the original hard shell case and operating guide. Chris2112
I've always fancied one of these after seeing a white one and being blown away. Right up my street as far as basses go! Best of luck with the sale!
vmaxblues
Looking at your signature I can see why! very similar type basses. Cheers for the comment
Chris2112
Oh yes, this is right up my street. If I wasn't questing for a headless bass I'd have had a punt, I'm still tempted as it is. I love things like this that are wonderfully overengineered. It's easy to forget it has a Modulus neck, a fabulously expensive item as it is! Larmer
Just out of curiosity, are the pick-ups contoured to match the radius of the neck? And people, don't forget Modulus are charging 800£ for their replacement necks
Chris2112
IIRC they may be slightly contoured, although I recall the board itself being fairly flat. I'm sure vmax will be able to further enlighten us! Edited August 24, 2010 by Chris2112

vmaxblues
The pickups are very slightly contoured, and yes overengineered is right! they spared no expense on everything that was put into this bass, these new were astronomically expensive! And yes, toenails, I know, I know...
adledman
hi, dont sell!! you will regret it! yes the pick ups are contoured and having found one after searching for years myself i can say it it one bass i will always keep. the tone and quality of the signal this produces is awesome. its one of the fastest necks i have played too. its a lot of bass for £700 as they were £2000 in 93-94. i know peavey is not really a name indicative of high end bass guitars but they pulled out all the stops on this model and got it spot on. a bargain! Still many people lives with that prejudice, which is cool for us who know the truth (read this with biblical intonation) because you can find deals like this very same one. I agree that you should keep it but surely you have good reasons for this (otherwise you'll burn in hell) Have a bump for a true beauty
