strings needed

so I have been playing the bass for about 6 months and at some time if not now will need to replace the strings on a mm stingray 4 ...whats the difference between flat wound and round wound strings any help on this thanks

Keep an eye out here mate....I sent for some daddiero replacements round rounds...I'll get a twin pack...when/if they come in the post, I'll send them to you. You just pay the post. I'm going back to super slinkies.
