Hello everyone, im desperatley trying to find out about my bass ,I bought it around 1990ish brand new, its a Bass Collection SB something or other.It has active pick-ups, gold hardware ,quilted maple top on a walnut body and as far as i can gather a rare through body construction . i have seen other bass collections on the net but they all seem to have bolt on necks any info would be appreciated.

Hi there. I don't recall ever seeing a Bass Collection with through body construction, but there is a Facebook group for the SGC Nanyo Bass Collection. SGC Nanyo were the original manufacturers and, going by the date yours should be one of these. I would try the FB group - maybe someone on there can help you:
